Swim-A-Thon 2016

Selection_811The Arnprior Bluefish Swim Club is pleased to announce this years Swim-A-Thon campaign! The Swim-A-Thon is a Swimming Canada program that directly supports local swimming programs in communities like ours across the country. Swimming Canada commits 90% of the funds raised to promote and finance swimming programs of ALL levels in the local community of the participant. This 90% commitment places Swimming Canada in the top 5% of all charitable organizations.

This year, our goal is to raise $10,000 for the club.  With your help, we know we can achieve our goal.

The Swim-A-Thon involves all swimmers and is to be held on May 25th and 26th from 3:30-5:30 at the Nick Smith Centre.  Your swimmer will be instructed on which day to show up.

Donations can be submitted online to our RaiseAThon page or collected using our pledge form.  The wepage allows you to easily solicit donations from family, colleagues, and friends through social media.  If you are collecting donations door-to-door or a donor is unable to submit their donation electronically, we ask that you go online and enter the donation in for them using your own credit card on their behalf.  Receipts will be issued for donations of $10 or more except for parents/guardians of swimmers who are not eligible for receipts.

We encourage the parents to go online and assist your swimmer with the registration process.  Registration can be accessed at http://ontarioswimathon.ca/absc.  Start spreading the word to family, friends, business colleagues, social contacts and those that support the sport of swimming in our community, province, and Canada!

Your fundraising goal for this season in $300/swimmer.  Please show your support and help the club provide the best resources, coaching, and programs that we can for our kids by helping to raise these valuable dollars that will support our swimming program.
