Non-Competitive Program

The non-competitive program is ideal for younger swimmers (age 7+) that are interested in trying competitive swimming. It is the ideal next step for those swimmers that have graduated from the Swim Plus program. Swimmers should be strong enough to swim one length of the pool without stopping. The focus of this program is on the Fundamentals phase of the Long Term Swimmer Development (LTSD) model for all four strokes, starts and turns.

Swimmers in the non-competitive group can participate in 1 sanctioned swim meet during the season.

This program runs from October to June. Practices are twice a week for 50 minutes (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) at either 3:30-4:20pm or 4:30-5:20pm.

Cost for Season: $400.00 plus Swim Canada fee of $44.90

Pre-Competitive Program

The pre-competitive program is the ideal next step for swimmers from the Non-Competitive program or for older swimmers (age 9+) that have good fundamentals in at least 3 strokes. This program continues to build on swimmer Fundamentals and introduces swimmers to the Learn-to- Train phase of the LTSD model. Team participation and good sportsmanship are developed.

Swimmers in the pre-competitive group can participate in 1 sanctioned swim meet during the season.

This program runs from October to June. Practices are twice a week for 80 minutes (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) from 4:00-5:20.

Cost for Season: $500.00 plus Swim Canada fee of $44.90

Competitive Program

The competitive program introduces swimmers to the Train-to- Train and the Train-to- Compete phases of the Swim Canada LTSD model. While becoming more efficient in the water, there is more endurance focus and swimmers in this group are required to swim four or five practices (8+ hours) per week. Setting goals and personal best times comes into focus.

The competitive group participates in up to 8 sanctioned swim meets during the season, this includes both local and out-of-town swim meets.

This program runs from early October to June. Practices are (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 3:30-5:20pm, and Sundays 7:30-9:00am.

Cost for Season: $1,000 plus Swim Canada fee of $90.80 to $150.80 (depending on age)
