Get Your Teamwear!

Hello Bluefish Swimmers and Families!

Let me first start by welcoming any new swimmers to the Arnprior Bluefish Swim Club and its wonderful to see so many swimmers returning from last year.

Another exciting swim year is just around the corner and we are all very anxious to get started!

The Arnprior Bluefish Swim Club is a very supportive and encouraging  group and we all love showing our team spirit.

Team wear is a great way to show this off!  We offer many items of clothing.. ie: jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, toques, water bottles (new this year) and of course team swimwear!

I will be available at the Nick Smith Centre on Tuesday September 30th from 7:00 pm -8:30pm if you wish to purchase any of these items.  I will have items for display as well as various swimwear sizes to try on.

Registration Clarification (Friday Morning Practices)

Hi Bluefish families!

This is a quick clarification regarding the Friday morning training sessions.

These sessions at present are open only to swimmers registered with the Competitive Program.

The focus of these 45 minute sessions is advanced technique and a variety of tools will be used. While it is highly suggested  that all competitive swimmers try to attend at least 2 sessions/month, we realize that it is not possible for all to attend. That in no way excludes any swimmer from being in the competitive swim program.

The addition of this technical morning swim is to assist those swimmers wanting to take their training a little higher and harder and bring the ABSC Programs more in line with Swim Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development Plan  and what other clubs offer.

Competitive swimmers will communicate with their coach when and whether they will be attending these sessions in advance for planning purposes. More information on this will come out later.
